Hoke County WRESTLING​

The Hoke County Wrestling Family Model is a collaboration of Coach Walworth and Coach Finkbeiner.  Both believe that wrestling is fundamental at the foundation.  So, we created a family of wrestling bringing all of the wrestling programs under one umbrella to teach the same things, using the same words, and creating a mentor program where upper level wrestlers work with the lower level wrestlers.

We believe that there is nothing better than to have constant praise from people that are doing the same things you are and can share life lessons and the struggles of success in our sport of wrestling.  We believe this is the way to keep the young involved and encouraged to grow our sport of wrestling.

We have buy-in from all of our coaching staffs at each level and that plays a big part in the successes in our future.  We use each coach's strong points to teach our youth so that everyone gets the best of the best  from the staff.  This also allows our best wrestlers to work with each other when they attend different schools so that they can become better.

We are sanctioned by two wrestling organizations.  Our primary Folkstyle program is with NCWAY and our Greco and Freestyle programs are with USA Wrestling.  We are always looking to grow the sport and our program.  If interested please email us at hcwrestling@gmail.com today.
