The Forge
Hoke Wrestling PRESENTS:
Dennis Gustafson, ACC Champion from Va Tech, has been in town to give us a 3 day clinic. Cost was only $50 for the three day, 2 session camp. Dennis is the last person (2nd in the history) to win a State Title for Hoke High. Sunday is the last day of the event.

The Forge has run its second tournament of the NCWAY season at Hoke High School's gym after holding the first one at Sandy Grove Middle School. Both tournaments went smoothly with many of our wrestlers earning medals. There were a lot of smiles in the gym.
Youth wrestling participation numbers are growing again. Please tell your neighbors, friends, and classmates about our great family oriented program.
The Summer Season is going full blast and we need all of you here to participate in order for our family to continue to grow. Middle School and High School wrestlers are on Tue, Wed, Thurs at 12:30 pm and meet in V-35 before going to the mat room. This is to go over the basic fundamentals and terminology that we use within our family environment. Rising 6th through rising 12th are encouraged to attend. We always start with the fundamentals.

GYM UPDATES
Welcome to Hoke County's Wrestling Family. This is a series of programs under one umbrella program to enhance our wrestling experience and forge camaraderie, mentorship, pride, and family.
We start with the youth program at age 5 and will continue in our USA sanctioned program up to age 70.

We offer4 different levels of participation:
Level 1 is our Parks and Rec Program
(This is for introduction and for those who do not want to compete weekends.)
Level 2 is our wrestling club, The Forge,
where we compete on most weekends. (This is for those that want to compete at a higher level by participating in the USA and AAU wrestling events.)
Level 3 is our middle school program
(This is for 6th through 8th graders that want to represent their school. These wrestlers can still be a part of the Forge for additional mat time.)
Level 4 is our high school program
(This is where all those years culminate into a wrestler that has opportunities to continue wrestling in college. This is for the serious wrestler. These wrestlers will still be able to compete in the USA and AAU tournaments with the Forge.)
